Pearson VUE Certification Testing
The BYU-Idaho Testing Center is an authorized Pearson VUE Testing Site providing inovative computer-based testing solutions for certification and select professional licensure exams. Pearson VUE provides a list of available Certification tests for a wide variety of disciplines and programs.

College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)

CCTC and Other Tests
The BYU-Idaho Testing Center is a member of the Consortium of College Testing Centers. As a member we are happy to open our doors to you to take any test. Here's a basic guide to help you schedule and take your test here at BYU-Idaho.
- Call us at (208) 496-1750 or e-mail us at testcenter@byui.edu to schedule a time and let us know about the test you will be taking (i.e., who will be sending it, the test format, where the results will be sent, etc.).
- Contact the professor, institution, or organization responsible for the test and let them know you wish to take it here, at BYU-Idaho. You may provide our web page as reference so they can reach us and see the terms in which the test will be administered.
- Confirm with us that everything has been taken care of a few days before taking your test.
- Show up, pay any dues (we charge $5.00 per test, plus any other fee you may have to pay to take the test) and take your test.

GED (General Education Development)
BYU-Idaho currently does not offer the GED High School Equivalency tests.
The National ACT
The BYU-Idaho Testing Center is an ACT testing site. Use the ACT Web Site to schedule your test.
ACT Residual
Prospective BYU-Idaho Students may take the ACT Residual exam if they meet the criteria set by the BYU-Idaho Admissions Office. The Adminssions phone number is (208) 496-1036.
